STERLING Automotive can offer a car transport service to or from anywhere in Europe.

We are based in Newbury, in West Berkshire and can deliver or collect your car for £1.00 per mile (one way only) plus a loading fee of £60.00. The only additional charge would be to cover the costs to either the pick up or drop off point (whichever is nearest to our office). We charge £0.40 per mile for this.

Log onto http://www.multimap.com and enter the postcodes for the delivery and collection points. Take the mileage and multiply by £1.00

Then, see which of the two points is closest to our postcode which is RG14 5RQ and multiply this distance by £0.40

Add the two totals together, Increase this amount by £60.00 and finally add the VAT.

As we carry out classic car restoration work ourselves, we are used to carrying precious vehicles and are covered for up to £40,000 load value. We can still carry vehicles over this value but it would have to be covered on your own insurance policy.

Our transporter has a lightweight body, so we can legally carry cars up to 1600kg (you can usually look up the weight of your car with a simple Google search). The bed is 15'6" long and 6'10" wide. It comes with extended ramps which gives it a low loading angle. There is a heavy duty Ramsey 8000lb electric winch fitted which is easily strong enough to load anything you would need us to carry. The straps we use do not scratch the wheels.

Any vehicle transported, must be "free wheeling" ie. all tyres must be inflated and all panels & components secured correctly to the car.

VAT is chargeable at 17.5% on top of all prices quoted.
