STERLING Automotive can offer the full range of modification and fitting out services to turn your T5 or any other van into either an economy surf bus or a fully appointed camper. 
We can offer the full range of services and have the facilities and expertise to produce the finest craftmanship at highly competitive prices. Why not choose from one of our 'exterior and interior' standard designs. We have the 'Newbury' conversion for those that desire the full turnkey camper. We have the 'Hungerford' conversion for a fully appointed surf bus. Finally, we have the 'Kintbury' conversion for a bus on a budget. Alternatively, go ahead and specify your own conversion, picking from the options list below. If the exterior is already sorted, we can carry out a full 'interior only' conversion to turn your van into the camper of your desire. Our standard 'Oxford' interior conversion costs £5995 including all the appliances and a 3/4 rock and roll bed. Or you can amend this to suit your budget and needs. Furthermore, we would be more than happy to create a bespoke custom made interior for you and would be delighted to expand on your own creative ideas. 
Our rates are very competitive indeed and we are always careful to keep customers involved at all stages of work. We never carry out unecessary work and maintain a full photographic history where appropriate. A collection and delivery service is available. Want to convert your own wagon? No problem. We can supply you with the furniture cabinet set ready to collect and install yourself. This full kitchen and wardrobe unit for a VW T5 costs £1090 for the cabinets.
The appliances, electrical components and the rock and roll bed frame etc are not included but are all available (refer to our options list above for individual prices). Choose your own add on items - for example a table, with hanging rail and leg, is available at an additional £90 as is a kick panel with door for the R & R bed base at £95 and a storage seat box at £110. If you don't need a full camper but still want to self cater, take a look at our portable catering pods. Fitted with any combination of fridge, cooker and sink (along with all the fittings) that you desire, these single, double or triple pod cabinets are a simple and economical solution. Single pod catering cabinet. 
This single pod cabinet incorporates a single drawer. It has cut outs for Smev sink and Waeco fridge. The cost is £310 for the cabinet only, or £1195 including a Waeco CR-50 fridge and and Smev 8005 sink (with tap and electric pump) installed. Double pod catering cabinet. 
This double pod cabinet incorporates a cupboard for gas bottle and water container, and also a storage cupboard. It has cut outs for Smev economy hob and Smev economy sink. The cost is £420 for the cabinet only, or £760 including a Smev basic hob (with gas pipe and regulator) and Smev basic sink (with waste pipe) installed. Triple pod catering cabinet 
This triple pod cabinet incorporates a cupboard for gas bottle and water container, a storage cupboard and a cut out for a fridge. It has cut outs for a Smev combination hob and sink. The cost is £495 for the cabinet only, or £1495 including a Waeco CR-50 fridge and a Smev combination hob / sink hob (with gas pipe and regulator for the hob plus tap, electric pump and waste pipe for the sink) installed. If you would prefer to have a third cupboard instead of a fridge, the cost would be £860 You can choose your own layout and we will happily build it for you. |
